Kathi Fitzgerald is a new contestant to appear on the 42nd season of the popular trivia game show, Jeopardy. Her debut episode will air on Friday, 10 April 2026.
As per the show’s format, she will compete against a returning previous episode champion, Jamie Ding, and Xaque Williams, a writer from Knoxville, Tennessee.
Jamie is enjoying his 20th winning streak with a total winnings of $572,600. The Lawrenceville, New Jersey-based bureaucrat & law student tied for the seventh most wins in the history of Jeopardy and ranks sixth in terms of total prize winnings.

Fitzgerald is 61 years old, born in the year 1964. She goes by the maiden name Hedish.
As per wiki, she spent her early life with her family in Chesapeake, Virginia, United States. Her mother is Alice Hedish, and her brother Bill Hedish works as a Director of the Distribution Administration and Process Improvement at an insurance company named Horace Mann.
After high school, Kathi went to Old Dominion University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature in 1996. Furthermore, she holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the same college, graduating in 2013.
