Born Hayley Emma Raso on 5 September 1994, she is 27 years of age now. She grew up with her family on the Gold Coast, Australia.
Raso is the youngest child of her parents. Her parents are divorced and she was raised by single mother Renaye Raso.
However, she has good terms with her father. She sometimes visits her father who now resides in northern New South Wales.
Hayley’s mother Renaye did many struggles and efforts to raise her children. She has two elder brothers named Jordan Raso and Lachlan Raso. Jordan has a severe intellectual disability and is now in a care home full-time.
Similarly, her other brother Lachlan was born with congenital heart disease. He underwent open-heart surgery in 2015. Lachlan is now a civil engineer by profession.
Hayley Career Journey
Raso began her career after signing for Canberra United during the 2011–12 W-League season. Afterward, she joined Brisbane Roar FC and spent a single season there.
In 2015, she signed to the Washington Spirit of the National Women’s Soccer League. A year later, she joined Portland Thorns FC and remained there until 2019. During that time, she had loan spells at Canberra United and Brisbane Roar.
Hayley was transferred to Everton in the FA Women’s Super League in January 2020. After being released as a free agent in August 2021, she joined Manchester City on a two-year contract.
Furthermore, she has been representing the Australian senior squad since 2012.
