As the 2020 NBA season kicks-in, Clint Capela, age 25, is new Hawks player. The 6 feet 10 inches in height is a basketball prodigy who did sign a multi-million dollar contract with his former team in a mid-2018 season.
Swiss professional basketball player Clint Capela plays for NBA team Atlanta Hawks. He is the 2014 recipient of Pro A Rising Star and Pro A Most Improved Player honors, including the NBA D-League All-Defensive First Team in 2015.

The player was born as Clint N’Dumba Capela on 18 May 1994 in Geneva, Switzerland, to parents, Angolan father, and a Congolese mother. Sadly, they parted ways just a few months apart from his birth. Then, his mother raised him and his older brother as a single parent.
Clint went to INSEP High school in Paris, France, to complete his education. He stands at the height of 6 feet 10 inches (2.08 m) tall and weighs around 109 kg.

The 25-year-old commenced his professional career joining with LNB Pro A team Elan Chalon. After two years of playing with the team since 2012, he got the fortune to be at the 2014 NBA draft, and Houston Rockets picked him. In the 2014-15 season, he had multiple assignments with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA Development League.
After the 2017-2018 season, he became a free agent. Nevertheless, the Rockets signed him for five years on an extended contract worth $90 million on 27 July 2018. But for now, he is mostly in the news for joining Hawks on 5 February 2020.

A year ago, right after the 2019 season start, a right thumb injury ruled him out on 14 January but he returned in action on 21 February against the Los Angeles Lakers.
