Darling was just 13 years old when she became the youngest winner of the Scottish Girls’ Amateur Championship in 2017. The same year, she played for Scotland in the Girls Home Internationals.
In 2018, she became the winner of the British Girls U16 Amateur Golf Championship, finishing two strokes ahead of Beth Coulter. She also won the Scottish Girls’ Amateur Championship and the Scottish Girls’ Open Championship.
Hannah won the Girls Amateur Championship beating Coulter in the final in August 2021. Later, she attended the University of South Carolina as a collegiate athlete.
Likewise, she reached the semi-finals of the Women’s Amateur Championship in 2022. She earned First Team All-America honors from both the WGCA and Golfweek in the 2022-23 season.
