His NFL Journey
Derrick played high school football at Corporate Landing Middle School and Ocean Lakes High School. Afterward, he committed to Florida State University to play collegiate football.
The 6-foot-1-inch was selected by the Chiefs as the 75th overall pick in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Eventually, he made his first NFL start against Jacksonville Jaguars on 7 October 2018.
Nnadi won his first Super Bowl ring in his second season when the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the final in February 2020. Moreover, his second Super Bowl win was against Philadelphia Eagles on 12 February 2023.
