CJ made his NFL debut season opener against the Indianapolis Colts on 13 September 2020. There, he intercepted a pass to set up a touchdown and broke up a fourth-down pass to seal an upset victory.
Following his fantastic performance, he earned the NFL Rookie of the Week award. However, in November 2020, he suffered a groin injury and placed on the team’s injured reserve.
