Tyra could not deliver a baby with Erik, so they share a baby son, York Banks Asla on 8 January 2016 via surrogacy. Almost over two years of son’s arrival, Tyra and Erik decided to endways in October 2018. Besides a son with Tyra, Erik has three children; Tatjana, Taylor, and Tatum from his previous relationship.
