Career In TV And Movies

Asher landed a career break at the young age of 5 as Brad Jr. in the 2008 American drama film Jolene. At the age of 7, he auditioned for the musical Oliver! and landed a role in the production. Subsequently, he went on to act in multiple plays, including The Little Mermaid, Seussical, Mary Poppins, and Into the Woods.

Asher was part of two TV series in 2016 that included Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

Besides, he landed the central role of Jonah Beck in the family comedy-drama series Andi Mack from 2017 to 2019. Asher’s big break came as a role of Billy Batson in the 2019 DCEU superhero movie Shazam! In the movie, he shared the screen with American actor  Zachary Levi.

His upcoming project is the superhero film Shazam! Fury of the Gods. The movie is set to be released in 2023.
