The player’s father Derek played collegiate football as the quarterback for UNLV and ranks seventh in school history in passing yards. Likewise, his mother Shana was a Rebels cheerleader.
Stott has an elder brother named Brennen Stott and a younger sister named Breauna Stott. Breauna is also a Rebels cheerleader like her mother. He spent his childhood with his family in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
Made His MLB Debut In 2022
Stott played baseball at Desert Oasis High School in Enterprise, Nevada. He then committed to the University of Las Vegas (UNLV) to play college football.
The 6-foot-3-inch was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies with the 14th overall pick in the 2019 Major League Baseball draft. He then joined the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Phillies and later earned a promotion to the Williamsport Crosscutters of the Class A Short Season New York–Penn League.
In 2021, he joined the Jersey Shore BlueClaws of the High-A East. Moreover, he was promoted to the Reading Fightin Phils of the Double-A Northeast and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs of the Triple-A East.
On 8 April 2022, Bryson made his MLB debut for the Rockies against the Oakland Athletics. He recorded a single, a double, and an RBI in the 9–5 victory over the team.
