Earlier, Brenden attended Shawnee High School before being selected to the Philadelphia Union’s YSC Academy. He played for the youth team and completed high school education there.
In 2017, he signed an amateur contract with the American team Bethlehem Steel FC. After spending the season, he joined the Philadelphia Union on 13 September 2018. He played with the Union for the 2019 season.
Aaronson then joined the Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg in a record-breaking deal. The initial fee was $6 million and would pay an additional $3 million to the Union if certain incentives are met.
Besides, Brenden represents the United States national team at the international level. He has played for the U15 and U23 teams before getting his first senior call-up in October 2019.
