Bradley Beal is an American basketball player, who plays as a shooting guard for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Florida Gators for the 2011-12 season.

Bradley Emmanuel Beal was born on 28 June 1993 as one of the five sons of parents Bobby Beal and Besta Beal. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri with four brothers; Brandon, Bruce, Byron, and Bryon.

Beal attended Chaminade College Preparatory School in his hometown. He then accepted an athletic scholarship at the University of Florida and begin his college basketball. He stands at a height of 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m) and weighs around 207 lbs (94 kg).

While in the University, Bradley played for the Florida Gators men’s basketball team for the 2011-12 season. He ended the season averaging 14.8 points per game and helped his team to reach the Elite Eight during the NCAA tournament before being ousted by Louisville.

In June 2012, the Washington Wizards drafted Beal with the third overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft. Moreover, he became the first player in Wizards franchise history to average at least 25 points, five rebounds, and five assists, while appearing in all 82 games for the second consecutive season, following the 2018-19 season.

Initially, Bradley signed a 5-year contract with the Washington Wizards, worth $127,171,313. It included $127,171,313 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $25,434,263.

On 17 October 2019, he signed a two-year contract extension worth nearly $72 million. His extension kicks in for the 2021-22 season, has a player option for the following year. Similarly, Beal won’t be part of what has been shaping up to be an NBA free-agent extravaganza in the summer of 2021.

Bradley, aged 26 is currently in a relationship with longtime girlfriend Kamiah Adams. The duo started dating in 2015 and has been inseparable since then. Kamiah, aged 26 is a VH1 reality television personality, known from the series Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.

As Beal is yet to make her as his wife, the couple is the parents of two children. They welcomed their first child, a son named Bradley Emmanuel Beal II on 23 July 2018. Similarly, he and his partner welcomed their second child; a son named Braylon Elias Beal on 29 August 2019.
