Emily Steel was born in 1984 in Salt Lake City that makes her 36 years of age and her birthday falls on 2nd April every year. She is the middle child of Richard B. Steel and Catherine De Mott Steel. Her father worked as a scientific analyst for Sanofi, a French pharmaceutical company. Similarly, her mother is a retired speech pathologist, who worked at the Norwich Public Schools in Norwich, Connecticut.
When she was a child, her family moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, and East Lyme, Connecticut. There, she grew with brothers, Irving Steel and Ryan Steel. The 36-year old is currently married to her longtime love Daniel Jerome Hoevel. The duo exchanged the wedding vows on 28 July 2018 at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, Connecticut.
The duo first met in December 2014 at Hot Bird bar in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. At that time she was at a farewell party and he was getting a beer with a friend. Later they started dating and got engaged.
Daniel, aged 33 serves as a vice president for capital raising and investor relations in the Manhattan office of a technology investment firm, Silver Lake. He graduated cum laude from Kalamazoo College with a bachelor degree in Economics in 2009.
