Though it seemed like April’s marriage with LaShawn was supposed to be going a long way, a heart-wrenching disaster struck the Daniels family. In the tragic turn of events, the news came that her songwriter husband, LaShawn died in a car crash in South Carolina on 4 September 2019.
April herself revealed the tragic news on her Instagram account. LaShawn gave his service to the music industry for more than two decades before waving goodbye for the one last time aged 41. April has been continuously trying to get over the tragedy and her sons are there to help her.
