Former Tottenham player Anton Walkes is no more. The actual cause of his death is an accident and not natural and the entire football community is devastated to mourn the loss of a talent.

Anton Walkes Cause of Death!
An aspiring Footballer from Charlotte FC, Anton Walkes is no more. The athlete at the age of 25 died on 19th January 2023 and the cause of his death in a Florida boat crash. There were multiple injuries Anton sustained in a boat crash off the coast of Miami.
Anton, age 25 was found unconscious and was immediately taken to a hospital after the crash between two boats near the Miami Marine Stadium basin as per the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
When the player was found unconscious, he was given CPR by Miami Fire Rescue prior to being transferred to a Hospital. In the meanwhile, Charlotte FC issued a statement on Anton’s death. While the club has not provided details regarding the cause of death following an accident in South Florida, it is clear not to provide any further statements on the matter out of respect to the late player’s friends and family.

MLS & Football Clubs Offers Condolences on Anton Walkes’ Death
As per Yahoo, David Tepper, the owner at Tepper Sports & Entertainment issued a statement citing Anton, will be greatly missed by many.”On the other hand, Sporting Director Zoran Krneta said the team was heartbroken from the loss.
Likewise, the Major League Soccer also released a statement, calling the athlete a “talented and dedicated player who was loved by his teammates and fans. His former club, Atlanta United called him the epitome of a great teammate.

The athlete got the fortune to be part of the 2021 MLS expansion draft in 2021. At the time, he was 24 years of age and was the team’s second selection. Anton was preparing for his second season with Charlotte FC.
Anton began his professional career with Tottenham in 2016 and for two seasons until 2018. During the time, the player was loaned to Atlanta United and Portsmouth per wiki. He would later sign with both clubs, spending 2018 through 2020 with Portsmouth prior going back to Atlanta United in the 2021 season.
