Andy Adler is an American sportscaster and journalist who serves as a lead sports anchor at WPIX-TV. She hosts Yankees, Giants, and Jets Pre-Game shows.

Andy Adler began her career at age 20 at the NBC affiliate KSBW in California’s Monterey/Salinas market. She also worked on the NBC affiliate KNTV in San Francisco.

Moreover, she was a host of American Latino TV, a nationally syndicated, weekly magazine program that celebrates American Latino pride.

In 2007, she joined the Fox owned-and-operated WNYW-TV in New York. There, she served as a sports anchor and fill-in host of Good Day New York. Moreover, she covered numerous sports events, including the Super Bowl 42, the Yankees’ 2009 World Series Championship, etc.

Similarly, she was a news anchor at NBC News and hosted numerous sports segments. She was an anchor of Today in LA weekend edition and a reporter for Today in LA weekdays.

Adler also co-hosted the Los Angeles Laker’s pre and post-game show. She appeared on the show along with NBA legends James Worthy, Kurt Rambis, and Rob Horry.

In 2014, Andy joined WPIX, a CW-affiliated station in New York. She now appears as the Lead Weeknight Sports Anchor for the 6 pm and 10 pm newscast. Besides, she serves as its sports director and co-hosts Yankees, Jets, and Giants’ pre-game shows.

The anchorwoman was married to American screenwriter Doug Ellin. The duo tied the wedding knot in September 2017 after dating for two years.

They first met in 2015 after she interviewed him on her show. Later, they started dating and engaged on 30 April 2017 while vacationing in New Orleans.

However, their marriage did not last long, and they separated after less than a year of their wedding. In April 2018, Doug filed for divorce, citing “’irreconcilable differences.”

Since then, she has not been involved in any relationships. She is now single and enjoying her career so far.
