Alejandro is the son of parents Saliu Balde and Gledys Balde. He was born Alejandro Balde Martínez on 18 October 2003 in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.

His Career Journey
Balde spent his youth days at Sant Gabriel and RCD Espanyol. He then joined FC Barcelona academy at the age of eight in 2011.
After an impressive pre-season in the summer of 2021, he was benched for the LaLiga opening match against Real Sociedad. Likewise, he made his professional debut in the Champions League group stage match against Bayern Munich on 14 September 2021.
Alejandro has represented Spain’s youth team playing for U16, U17, U18, and U19 levels. He made his senior debut at the World Cup game in the 7-0 win over Costa Rica on 23 November 2022.
