The 21-year-old got the fortune to be selected at the 2016 MLB draft by the Seattle Mariners. However, he did not pen any contract and instead chose Oregon State University to play college Basketball for the Beavers.

During his playing tenure with Beavers in his freshman year, Adley’s played 61 games and recorded an impeccable stats of .234/.322/.306 hits with two home runs and 33 runs batted in (RBI). Similarly, in 2018, he was able to make 17 hits and 13 RBI in the series which made him the College World Series Most Outstanding Player.
