At the age of 18, Abraham Attah has gained international recognition as one of the most popular Ghanaian actors in the world. The young gun has a number of awards for his role in the critically acclaimed Netflix film, Beasts of No Nation.

Abraham Attah is a Ghanaian actor who made his professional debut in 2015 with the Beasts of No Nation. His recent appearance came as Abe Brown in the Marvel flick, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The 18-years-of-age actor was born as Abraham Nii Attah on 2 July 2001 in Ghana. Though the names of his parents are not disclosed yet, it is known that his father works at the port and his mother works in a market. Abraham has five siblings in total.

Standing tall at a decent height, Abraham hails from the Ga-Dangme ethnic group in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. His family resides in Ashiaman, Tema, Accra. On the other hand, Abraham flew to the United States for his career and education, where he joined a local school and carried along with his passion for acting side by side.

Abraham kicked off his professional acting career with the 2015 American-Ghanaian war drama film, Beasts of No Nation. His appearance as Agu in the Netflix film won him a wonderful critic and public reception.

A year later, Abraham played the role of Mebro on the short film titled Out of the Village that revolved around a brother and sister seeking closure after Ebola raged their West African Village. Furthermore, Abraham also played Abe Brown in the 2017 MCU movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming, alongside Tom Holland.

So early in his career, Abraham is yet to put his net worth figures into million. For now, his estimated earning reads at $700k. He is ready to appear in the upcoming drama film, Tazmanian Devil.

For his leading role of child soldier Agu on his debut film Beasts of No Nation, Abraham has garnered a handful of awards and nominations. He was awarded the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival in 2015. Besides, he bagged the Ghana Movie Awards Best Actor in a Leading Role and Discover of the Year for the same role.

Besides, the movie role handed him several other awards like Black Film Critics Circle Rising Star Award, Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead, and Venice International Film Festival Marcello Mastroianni Best Young Actor Award. Likewise, he also won the National Board of Review Award for Best Breakthrough Performance, which he shared with actor Jacob Tremblay.

On top of that, Abraham received several other nominations for the same movie like Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer, Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, and Empire Award for Best Male Newcomer.
