Aristides signed a deal with the Cincinnati Reds as an international free agent in 2011. He switched to the Major League Baseball (MLB) from the Dominican Prospect League in the month of January. Aristides made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Reds of the minor league. Subsequently, he played for Arizona League Reds, Billings Mustangs, and Dayton Dragons from 2013 to 2015.

The young player spent his 2016 season with another minor league team, Dayton Tortugas. After that, he got a call up to the Reds’ 40-man roster. Aristides finally got his major league selection on 17 August 2018. Two days later, he made his MLB debut as a pinch-runner for Scooter Gennett. He became a free agent on November 2018 and re-signed a minor league deal in the next month.

Aristides opened 2019 season with the Louisville Bats. Later on 1 August, the Reds offered him a year-long contract which profits him with the salary of $555,000. He then hit seven home runs in his first ten MLB games. Aristides became the first rookie to hit three consecutive home run in MLB history after he recorded three home run against the Chicago Cubs on 10 August 2019.
