Alina was born and brought up in Los Angeles, California. Her parents, Carl Thompson and Nancy Thompson, have always been supportive of their daughter’s career aspirations in the entertainment industry. Even, they were part of accompanying the child for her multiple modeling photoshoots and cond tests.

At the age of 14 in 1984, she was part of a photoshoot at Huntington Beach alongside her father.
