Alexandra Forsterling is a German professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour. She has won three titles in the Ladies European Tour.
Currently, she ranks no. 69 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. Besides, she achieved the best World Amateur Golf Ranking of no. 9.

Forsterling was born to German parents on 27 November 1999. Her parents raised her in Berlin, Germany.
The golfer was influenced by her parents to play golf as they also used to play golf. Her parents had toys in her cart when she was a toddler so she could keep herself busy while they were playing golf.
Alexandra’s mother Simone Scheumann Försterling still travels with her during the golf events. Her father passed away unexpectedly just before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Standing at a height of 5 feet 8 inches, she received her training at the Wannsee Golf and Country Club (GLCW). After graduating from high school in 2018, she moved to the United States and enrolled at Arizona State University.
In 2022, she graduated from the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts with a bachelor’s degree specializing in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Digital Culture and Film and Media Production.

Alexandra won the 2014 European Young Masters as an amateur. She was a runner-up at the 2020 European Ladies’ Team Championship and the 2021 European Ladies Amateur.
Moreover, she won the Berlin Open in 2016, 2017, and 2019 and finished third at the 2017 Helen Holm Scottish Women’s Open Championship. In 2018, she enrolled at Arizona State University to play collegiate golf.

As a junior, she won the 2021 German Girls Amateur Title and finished second at the European Amateur Championship. She turned professional in December 2022.
Forsterling joined the 2023 Ladies European Tour after winning the LET Q-School at La Manga in Spain. She has won three LET titles; the 2023 VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open, the 2023 Mallorca Ladies Golf Open, and the 2024 Aramco Team Series – Tampa Individual Title. She has played 3 events on the LPGA Tour and 1 event on the Epson Tour.
