Moreover, the family became five with the arrival of a baby boy, Thomas Llamas Jr. on 14 October 2017. The youngest kid in the family is 6 years of age. Thomas took to his official Instagram handle to share the news of the kid’s arrival. He made it clear that his wife doing amazingly well and was also more than gratified to welcome the healthy child, his two other kids being over the moon.

Journalism Career & Salary

Thomas’s career in broadcasting took place in 2000 upon joining the NBC News Specials Unit. He later got the opportunity to move MSNBC from 2000 to 2005. Four years later in 2009, he worked for both NBC News and WNBC.

The news personality then moved to ABC News in September 2014 as a New York-based correspondent. A year later, he became the Sunday anchor of ABC World News Tonight and also became the sole weekend anchor in early 2017. Thomas spent seven long years at ABC News from 2014 until early 2021. 

He then got an amazing opportunity to join NBC as a Senior National Correspondent. In almost 24 years of career in media and broadcasting, Thomas has won Emmy Wards also being the two-time recipient of the Edward R. Murrow awards.
