Born as Tejay Anthony Antone on 5 December 1993, he is 27 years of age. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and his parents raised him in Texas.
Antone is one of two children of parents Tony Antone and DiAnn Antone. His father Tony played both football and baseball at the University of Oklahoma. Similarly, he was a member of the Sooners’ 1975 national championship football team.
The athlete is the youngest child in the family and has an elder sister named Tiffany Antone. Tifanny is an Indie Pop singer-songwriter from Dallas, Texas.
Tejay’s grandfather Manuel Antone served in the US Army and retired as Sergeant First Class in 1968 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was much close to his grandfather, who died at the age of 93 on 6 March 2019.
High School & College
The 6-foot-4-inch attended Mansfield Legacy High School in Mansfield, Texas. After high school, he went to Texas Christian University and played college baseball for the TCU Horned Frogs.
Afterward, he was transferred to Weatherford College, where he played for the 2014 season.

His MLB Journey
Tejay was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 5th round, with the 155th overall selection of the 2014 MLB draft.
Subsequently, he began his professional career with the Arizona League Reds and played with the Billings Mustangs in the same season. Likewise, he played with the Dayton Dragons in the 2015 season.
Antone split the 2016 season between the Daytona Tortugas and the Louisville Bats. After missing the 2017 season with an injury, he played for the Daytona Tortugas in the 2018 season. Moreover, he played for both the Chattanooga Lookouts and Louisville Bats in the 2019 season.
The Cincinnati Reds added him to its 40–man roster after the 2019 season. On 27 July 2020, he made his MLB debut against the Chicago Cubs, giving up 1 run in 4.1 innings of work.
