Taylor and her husband Patrick first met while both were studying at Ohio University. Her husband graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism in 2014.
As of now, Patrick serves as an account executive at Sun Broadcasting, Inc. Prior to that, he was a Murrow Award-winning weekend sports anchor and sports reporter for the local ABC & CW affiliate in Evansville, Indiana.
Her Career Journey
Earlier, Taylor completed her internship at WPTV NewsChannel 5 as a multimedia journalist. Moreover, he was a news assignment desk intern at a CBS affiliate KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The anchor began her broadcast career as a reporter and weekend anchor at KMIZ-TV, an affiliate of ABC and MyNetworkTV in Columbia, Missouri. While working there, she won two Heart of America Gold Awards from the Kansas City Press Club for a special report on “Surviving a Mass Shooting” and for several reports on human and sex trafficking in mid-Missouri.

In June 2018, Taylor joined the WINK News team in June 2018 and got right to work as the Lee County Sheriff’s Office beat reporter. After a year, she became an evening anchor and was promoted to a full-time anchor for WINK News This Morning two years later.
While at WINK News, she earned an Emmy nomination in 2019 for her reporting on a bomb squad search at a home in Cape Coral.
