He grew up in Wirral Peninsula before moving to Lianfairpwllgwyngyll, on the Welsh island of Anglesey. There, he joined primary school. Later, when he was 12, he moved to Aberystwyth and attended Ysgol Penglais School.

Taron Egerton’s acting career began with his two-episode stint as Liam Jay on British detective drama Lewis in 2013. A year later, he made a grand and to the point, his paramount appearance as Gary “Eggsy” Unwin on spy comedy flick Kingsman: The Secret Service. The film was directed and produced by British filmmaker Matthew Vaughn on a production cost between $81 to 94 million. Significantly, the action spy flick took away the box-office by storm and made $414.4 million.

Taron even got the fortune to play a starring role of Michael Edwards in the 2016 biographical sports comedy-drama film, Eddie the Eagle. The English actor and director, Dexter Fletcher shot the movie on a budget of $23 million collected almost twice as $46.1 million at the box office. In the same following years, he voiced the animated character of Johnny in the 2016 America cartoon film, Sing; In the same movie actor, Nick Kroll has voiced the character of Gunter.

He continued the role in the second edition of the movie named Kingsman: The Golden Circle in 2017. The second installment of the much popular franchise made almost four times a box-office collection of $410.9 million on a budget of $104 million.

With the Kingsman film series on his back, Taron’s other movie and TV appearances include Legend (2015), Love at First Sight (2017), and Watership Down (2018). He is set to fire up the showbiz with the upcoming biopic of Elton John, Rocketman. While fans can catch his voice as Moomintroll in 2019 Finnish-British animated drama series Moominvalley.

Also known for his 2018 appearance as Robin Hood in the same-named action/adventure, Taron Egerton enjoys a commanding net worth $6 Million.

Taron’s relationship sage got a twisting turn in 2018 after he parted ways with British producer girlfriend Emily Thomas following a two-year romance. The couple first started dating in November 2016 and afterward was spotted attending numerous red carpet events.
