Born on 30 October 1975, the 43-years-old actor/singer is also known by his birth name, Steven Michael Kazee. He hails from Ashland, Kentucky, the United States. Steve’s father worked as a welder and a healthcare aide. He lost his mother, Kathy Withrow Kazee, to cancer on Easter Sunday 2012.

Standing tall at a height of 6 feet and 2 inches (1.88 m), Steve attended Fairview High School for his initial part of education. Subsequently, he moved to Morehead State University in 2002. Later, he moved to New York City and received his MFA degree from the Graduate Acting Program offered by the Tisch School of Arts of the New York University.

Steve Kazee landed his professional stage debut with the New York Shakespeare Festival’s As You Like It, in June 2005. He later appeared as Leslie Understudy in Seascape, in November 2005. Eventually, Steve had other theatre credits like The Subject Was Roses (2006), 110 in the Shade (2007), and To Be or Not to Be (2008). His prolific role came as a Guy in the musical, Once (2011-2013).

Steve made his television debut in 2015 with the American comedy-drama series, Shameless. He starred in the 14 episodes of the show as Gus Pfender. His latest performance was of Frank in the AMC’s post-apocalyptic horror show, The Walking Dead, in 2019.

Despite his massive popularity, Steve is yet to reveal his actual net worth.

Good news folks! The actor is on the verge of welcoming a child with his girlfriend, Jenna Dewan. The couple flashed the good news on Instagram on 24 September 2019, which made Steve’s fans erupt with joy. Steve started dating actress and dancer, Jenna in October 2018.  The pair first met through a mutual friend.

Before Jenna, Steve dated actress and singer Megan Hilty for around seven years. They began their romance in 2005 before deciding to part ways from one another in 2012. The breakup was reportedly initiated by Megan.
