Valentina Shevchenko Bio; Family, Sister, Height

Valentina was born on 7 March 1988 to Kyrgyzstani family in Frunze, Kirghizia, USSR. Her mother Elena Shevchenko raised her along with sister Antonina Shevchenko. Antonina is a Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist currently competing in the flyweight division of the UFC.

Shevchenko received an undergraduate degree in Film Directing from the University of Arts Kyrgyzstan. The MMA fighter stands at the height of 5 feet 5 inches (1.65 meters) and weighs 125 lbs (57 kg).

Her Career; MMA, Fight

Valentina began her fighting career in 2003, fighting in K-1, Muay Thai, and kickboxing. She won 8 gold medals competing in the IFMA world championships, as well as the IMFA Royal World Cup in 2015. She is regarded as one of the best female Muay Thai fighters in the world.

In 2014, Shevchenko signed for MMA and kickboxing. She became champion at UFC 231 beating Joanna Jędrzejczyk, whom she had previously defeated three times in amateur Muay Thai bouts. She is the current Women’s Flyweight champion as of 2019.

Valentina Shevchenko Ranks Second in 2020 UFC Ranking!

Valentine has been able to get the second UFC spot as of 23 November 2020 citing the UFC women’s pound-for-pound rankings. During the start of her 2020 season, Valentina sealed a big win against Katlyn Chookagian on 8 February 2020. On 6 June 2020, she was scheduled to face Joanne Calderwood at UFC 250. However, a leg injury pulled her out of the fight. Before claiming the second UFC ranking, she got the fortune to defend her fourth title defenses against Jennifer Maia on 21 November 2020 at UFC 255 and won the fight via unanimous decision.

Despite the successful career, it looks like Valentina is yet to accomplish her dating life. The 31-year-old has not disclosed her relationship status to the media eyes.
