Stefon Mar’sean Diggs was born on 29 November 1993 to parents Aron Diggs and Stephanie Diggs in Gaithersburg, Maryland. His family consists of two brothers; Darez (born 1995) and Trevon Diggs (born 1998).

Diggs pursued his early education at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Montgomery County, Maryland. He then went to the University of Maryland to begin his college football. He stands at a height of 6 feet (1.83 meters) and weighs 191 lbs (87 kg).

Stefon started his college football with the Maryland Terrapins football team from 2012. There, he played for three seasons from 2012 to 2014. He was then selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 5th round, 146th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Diggs made his NFL debut in the Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos in the 2015 season. He was named to the Pro Football Writers of America’s (PFWA) 2015 NFL All-Rookie team in January 2016. He had a stats of 102 receptions for 1,021 yards and nine touchdowns in the 2018 season.
