The 23-years-of-age player was born as Nicholas Jamaal Chubb on 27 December 1995 in Cedartown, Georgia, the United States. He is among the three children of his father, Henry Chubb. Nick shares a sibling bond with his brother, Zach Chubb and sister Neidra Chubb.

Standing tall at a height of 5 feet and 11 inches (1.80 m), Nick attended Cedartown High School in his hometown. There, he was a two-sport star for the Bulldogs’ football and track teams. Following that, he attended the University of Georgia and enjoyed a four-season career with the Georgia Bulldogs football team.
Courtesy of his excellent college scores, the Cleveland Browns picked him in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Eventually, he penned a four-year rookie deal worth $7.4 million with the team. Nick’s contract comes with a $3.4 million signing bonus.
Nick ringed his NFL debut in a season-opening game against the Pittsburgh Steelers where he recorded three carries for 21 yards. Later on 19 October 2018, he was named the full-time starter by the Browns. Following that, he broke off a 92-yard rushing touchdown to help his side secure a 28-16 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on 11 November 2018.
