Neiron Ball is no more with us! The former Oakland Raiders’ outside linebacker is in the news headlines following his sad demise due to aneurysm.

Neiron Ball played for the Oakland Raiders after picked by the side in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Before that, he played college football at Florida from 2011 to 2014.

Neiron Ball Short Bio: Parents, height

The former American football player was born on 20 August 1992 as Neiron Ball in Jackson, Georgia, the United States. He was born to his parents, Johanna Ball and Ronnie Ball.

Around 6 feet and 3 inches (1.91 m) tall in height, Neiron educated from the Jackson High School in Jackson, Georgia. There, he commenced his amateur football career. Eventually, he enrolled at the University of Florida and continued his football career.

Career Stats

After a promising college career, Neiron was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He bagged his first career sack against Josh McCown in a 27-20 win against the Cleveland Browns on 27 September 2015. Unfortunately, Neiron was placed on the injured reserve on 12 December 2015.

Following his struggle with an injury, Neiron was again waived by the Raiders and placed on injured reserve on 3 September 2016.

Neiron’s Death

The player, unfortunately, lost his life to an aneurysm on 9 September 2019, at the age of 27. Neiron suffered from the disease, which is described as an outward bulging, likened to a bubble or balloon, caused by a localized, abnormal, weak spot on the blood vessel wall in December 2018. He was immediately rushed to the hospital and placed into a medically-induced coma. Unfortunately, he lost his battle against the illness.

Before, Neiron was diagnosed with an arteriovenous malformation in 2011 while playing in Florida. However, he recovered and was able to play football again.
