The Miami Dolphins drafted him in the seventh round, 234th overall, of the 2019 NFL Draft. He ended his rookie season, recording 133 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown to go along with seven receptions for 51 receiving yards.
Gaskin had a career-best 95 yards from scrimmage in a victory over Jacksonville Jaguars in his first career start on 25 September 2020.
However, he suffered the injury with a sprained MCL and was later activated on 5 December 2020.
