The 22-years-of-age young player was born as Luis Fernando Urias Figueroa to María Trinidad Figueroa Esquer and Ramón Urías on 3 June 1997. He hails from Magdalena de Kino, Sonora, Mexico. Besides his parents, the details of his siblings still remain on the dark side.

Career Stats, Salary

Luis signed with the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball as an international free agent in December 2013. Eventually, he made his professional debut with the Rookie League Dominican Summer League Padres in 2014. Following two games, he got promoted to the Rookie League Arizona League Padres.

In the winter of 2014-15 Luis played for the Yaquis de Obregon of the Mexican Pacific Winter League. Latin 2015, he played for the Class A- Tri-City Dust Devils and the Class A Fort Wayne TinCaps, posting a combined .299 batting average with no home runs and 17 RBIs in 61 games between the two teams. Subsequently, in the winter of 2015-16, he played again for the Yaquis de Obregon, batting .280 with no home runs and 11 RBIs in 36 starts.

Luis ringed his professional MLB debut on 28 August 2018. In 2018, he batted .208/.264/.354 with two home runs in 48 at-bats. However, he suffered a season-ending hamstring injury on 11 September 2018. Recently on 27 November 2019, he was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers. His salary at the club is not disclosed yet.
