The player was born as Adrian Lewis Peterson on 21 March 1985 in Palestine, Texas to parents, Bonita Brown and Nelson Peterson. His dad was a shooting guard at Idaho who was sentenced ten years in jail after drug laundering while his mom is a three-time Texas state champion at Westwood High School who went to the University of Houston on an athletic scholarship as a sprinter and long jumper. He had an older brother, Brian who was killed in a road accident at the age of nine.

Adrian went to Palestine High School in Palestine, Texas and attended Oklahoma College. His height is 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 m) tall, and his weight is around 100 kg.

Career & Net Worth

The running back had a net worth of $4 million, but according to Daily Caller, he reportedly defaulted on a $5.2 million loan to a Pennsylvania lender. He was picked by the Minnesota Vikings at the 2007 NFL draft. A part of his signing was of five years worth $40.5 million including $17 million guaranteed.

He then went to New Orleans Saints, when the team offered him a two-year contract worth $7 million on 25 April 2017. He also got an additional $2.5 million signing bonus. Six months later, the team had no option but to trade him to Arizona Cardinals on 10 October 2017. A year then, he signed a veteran contract with Redskins on 20 August 2018. Then, his incredible stats made him worthy of getting a two-year deal worth $8 million on 13 March 2019.

Adrian’s Wife and Kids

Adrian and his wife, Ashley Brown are married since 22 July 2014. His wife Ashley works at an online cosmetic store, Elizabella Cosmetics. The player has six kids, but only the name of three are known including Adeja, Adrian and Axyl Eugene Peterson. Sadly his two-year-old son, Tyrese Robert Ruffin died on 11 October 2013, at a hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
