Scott initiated his career as a DJ at a young age of 16 on his local Hampshire commercial radio station, Power FM. After gaining some experience, he moved to London and commenced working for the London station Heart 106.2 in the year 1995.

Scott’s radio career took a new dimension when he joined BBC Radio 1 in 1998. At first, he presented the early breakfast show and later in January 2004, he shifted to the weekend slot for over six months.

The pair was together since 2014, and while dating, Bard even planned to marry and settle down with his long-term boyfriend in 2015. Unfortunately, the lovebirds couldn’t continue their bond for long and ended their long-haul bond in 2017. Subsequently, Scott started dating his partner, Sam.
