Cody was born to parents Kyle Coody and Debbie Coody on 7 January 2000. He is 24 years old now.

A native of Plano, Texas, he was raised by his parents there. His father was also a golfer who had a collegiate career at the University of Texas from 1983 to 1987. He has played the Asian Tour, Canadian Tour, and Korn Ferry Tour.

Furthermore, his grandfather Charles Coody played in the PGA Tour from the 1960s through the mid-1980s and later competed at the PGA Tour Champions. Additionally, he won the 1971 Masters Tournament and was a three-time PGA Tour winner.

Parker has a twin brother named Pierceson Coody, who was born 37 minutes later than him. The Coody brothers have also competed together on the Korn Ferry and PGA Tour.

After graduating from Plano West Senior High School in 2018, he went to the University of Texas at Austin. There, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications in 2022.

Adriana holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. She has been serving as an Audit & Assurance Senior Associate at Deloitte since May 2024.

Inside His Golf Career

Earlier, Coody was the AJGA Abilene/Bob Estes Champion in 2016. He also won the 2017 UIL State High School 6A Championship as an amateur.

From 2018 through 2022, he played collegiately at the University of Texas at Austin. There, he earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in 2019, 2021 and 2022. Likewise, he helped his college team win the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship in 2022.

Parker turned professional in the year 2022 and then joined the PGA Tour Canada. There, he won the CentrePort Canada Rail Park Manitoba Open by 8 strokes. After joining the Korn Ferry Tour in 2023, he became a runner-up at the Price Cutter Charity Championship.

Eventually, he earned a PGA Tour card for the 2024 season by being one of the top 30 players on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour points list. He has played in 17 PGA Tour events to date.
