Gaming YouTube Star Etika Found Dead At Age 29!

After missing for six days, the body found near the South Street Seaport in Manhattan was identified as Etika. The New York Police Department identified his body from his belongings, including his cellphone and identification.
Daniel Desmond Amofah, known as Etika, who has more than 130,000 YouTube followers, has died at the age of 29!
The New York Police Department confirmed that the body found in East River was of Etika. The body was recovered on 24 June 2019, near the South Street Seaport in Manhattan. His belongings were found after the video titled “I’m Sorry,” posted by Amofah on his secondary YouTube channel. He spoke about his mental health while walking through Manhattan on his video, which has now been deleted.
Well, the NYPD stated that they are still investigating the circumstances surrounding Amofah’s death to find out the real cause.

Amofah disappeared from 19 June and authorities found and recovered his belongings, including his cellphone and identification. Before vanishing, he posted a video to his channel, where he expressed suicidal thoughts, prompting concern among his fans. He had been sharing similar thoughts from the past eight months.
Following the news, various YouTubers are mourning his death by the heartfelt messages through their social media channel. Pewdiepie, aged 29 was the first to write the message.
Meanwhile, the other fellow YouTubers including makeup blogger James Charles, animator Ross O’Donovan also shared the post dedicated to him.
Who Is Etika?
Etika was born on 12 May 1990 in Brooklyn, New York. He created the popular channel, EWNetwork in July 2012. There, he uploaded Let’s Plays of video games, Nintendo news updates, trailer reactions, and other reaction videos.

His one of the most popular videos, “MEWTWO DLC REVEAL!!! Etika’s First Time Reaction to it!!!,” earned more than 750,000 views within a year. Moreover, he used to broadcast on Twitch and YouTube Gaming.
