Amy Schumer Disclose Husband Is On Autism Spectrum

Amy Schumer on her new Netflix show, Growing on 19 March 2019 talked about her husband, Chris Fisher’s illness. The 37-year-old told,

I knew from the beginning that my husband’s brain was a little different than mine. My husband was diagnosed with what used to be called Asperger’s. He has an autism spectrum disorder. He’s on the spectrum.

Although she knew the signs before, she became least bothered. Amy also added,

And once he was diagnosed, it dawned on me how funny it was, because all of the characteristics that make it clear that he’s on the spectrum are all of the reasons that I fell madly in love with him,” she said. “That’s the truth.

She also expressed that her partner does not lie and tells whatever is in his mind. Chris is always real and is least worried about social norms or what people expect him to say or do. For example, If Amy say to him ‘Does this look like s**t?’ he’ll go ‘Yeah, you have a lot of other clothes, why don’t you wear those?'”

During the same interview, Amy also laughed about her pregnancy complications. The Snatched actress is under medical terms from hyperemesis gravidarum, severe nausea, and vomiting.
