The player was born as Myles Lorenz Garrett on 29 December 1995 in Arlington, Texas, to parents, Audrey Garrett and Lawrence Garrett. Myles has a brother, Sean Williams; a former standout basketball player for Boston College and was selected number 17 in the first round of the 2007 NBA draft by the New Jersey Nets. Besides, his older sister, Brea Garrett, is a former track and field athlete at Texas A&M.

Myles went to Martin High School in Arlington, Texas, and has a stats of 19.5 sacks during his senior year. The player then chose to play college football at Texas A&M University in October 2013. He stands at the height of 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m) tall and weighs around 123 kg.

Career, Contract & Net Worth

At the end of 2016, Myles chose to be in the 2017 NFL draft. Some months later, The Cleveland Browns picked him, and he became the highest draft pick from Texas A&M in the history of the NFL draft.

The two agreed upon a fully guaranteed four-year contract worth $30.41 million. A part of his contract included an extra salary of $20.25 million as a signing bonus.
