Soroka lost his mother when he was just 12 years old. His mother Sally died from skin cancer in 2010 and had tough early years. He has two stepsisters Stephanie and Shannon.

His Career Journey
Mike was drafted 28th overall by the Atlanta Braves in the 2015 MLB draft. He began his professional career with the GCL Braves and later moved to the Danville Braves.
Similarly, he spent the 2016 season with the Rome Braves and played with the Mississippi Braves in the 2017 season. In 2018, he played with the Gwinnett Stripers and was promoted to major leagues by the Braves.
Soroka made his MLB debut against the New York Mets on 1st May 2018. However, he was unable to play regularly because of multiple injuries. He has been on the sideline since August 2020 due to an Achilles injury.
