The former WTIC-TV reporter and her partner, Frank Vascellaro relishes a long marriage of over two decades. After knowing each other for a while, they went to walk the wedding aisle in 199 in Florence Italy. Amelia and her husband are the first married pair doing the co-anchoring job in a daily news program in the Twin Cities from 29 June 2006. 

They are keen to involve themselves with the community also serving as the master of ceremonies at some of the Twin Cities premier charity events. Her right man has been an anchor in this community since 1996. Before, his work experience was working for WAND-TV in Decatur, Ill. and at WHOI-TV in Peoria, Ill. as an anchor/reporter.

The couple shares three kids, Sam and twins Joseph and Francesca. One of their sons, Joseph, and daughter, Francesca are twins by birth, born on 24 August in 2002. The twins went to their high school in mid-2017. Their other son, Sam is a UCT graduate who is also fortunate to play The Duke Blue Devils men’s basketball team.
