Campbell Brown met her future husband while both of them were working in Iraq. The couple have been married for 14 years and now raising two sons together.

Campbell Brown is an American media personality who now serves as the head of global news partnerships at Facebook. She previously served as an anchor on NBC News Channel and CNN.

Alma Dale Campbell Brown was born on 14 June 1968 in Ferriday, Louisiana. She is one of the three children of James H. “Jim” Brown and his first wife Dale Campbell. Her father James is the former Louisiana Democratic State Senator and Secretary of State, and her mother is a painter. She has two sisters and was raised as a Roman Catholic although her father is a Presbyterian.

Brown attended Trinity Episcopal Day School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She then attended Louisiana State University for two years before graduating from Regis University. She then went to Czechoslovakia, where she worked as an English teacher for two years.

Campbell began her journalism career as a political reporter covering Kansas politics for KSNT-TV, the NBC affiliate in Topeka, Kansas. Moreover, she worked for WWBT-TV, the NBC affiliate in Richmond, Virginia and reported for WBAL-TV in Baltimore and WRC-TV in Washington, D.C.

In 1996, Brown joined NBC News Channel and worked as a correspondent for two years. Furthermore, she served as NBC News’ White House correspondent during President George W. Bush’s first term. At NBC, she was a co-anchor of Weekend Today and also served as the main substitute anchor for Brian Williams and a primary correspondent for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and the weekday Today show. After working for 11 years, she left NBC in 2007 and joined CNN. There, she was an anchor on Campbell Brown, a daily prime-time news program on the network.

Brown left CNN in 2010 and began writing opinion pieces for publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Daily Beast and Slate. In 2017, Facebook hired her to lead its news partnerships team. As of now, she serves as the head of global news partnerships at Facebook.

Married Life, Husband, Children

Well, the 51-year-old is currently married to American columnist Dan Senor. The duo tied the wedding knot on 2^nd April 2006 at Beaver Creek Chapel in Beaver Creek, Colorado. The couple started dating in 2004 after meeting in Iraq while Dan was working as a spokesman for the Coalition Provisional Authority and she was covering one of his daily news conferences. Campbell even converted from Christianity to Judaism, her husband’s religion before their marriage.

Dan, 48 served as the chief spokesman for the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq and senior foreign policy adviser to U.S. presidential candidate Mitt Romney during the 2012 election campaign. He is the adjunct senior fellow for Middle East Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations. They have two sons; Eli James Senor, born on 18 December 2007 and Asher Liam Senor, born on 6 April 2009.

Before Dan, she was married to Peregrine “Pere” Roberts, a real estate broker but the couple divorced later.
