Tyreek Hill, age 27, was born on 1 March 1994 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Both his parents Derrick Shaw and Anesha Sanchez were in their teens at the time of his birth.

Tyreek’s father was mostly absent during his childhood. He was later raised by his teen mother and grandmother Virginia Hill in Georgia.

Standing at a tall height of 5 feet and 10 inches (1.78 m), Tyreek attended Coffee High School for his high school education. Soon the young prospect rose to his athletic abilities and later joined Oklahoma University and the University of West Alabama to advance his football credentials.

Polishing his football skills with his college career, Tyreek entered National Football League after being picked in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. Though his selection fronted criticisms from the fans due to his past alleged controversy, Tyreek recorded his first career catch for a nine-yard touchdown pass in his team’s 33-27 victory over San Diego Chargers.

Coming to his three regular seasons with the Chiefs, Tyreek’s NFL stats read at 223 receptions, 3255 receiving yards, 14.6 receiving yards per reception, and 25 receiving touchdowns from 47 games.

Tyreek is in buzz to pen a big-money contract with the Chiefs before the 2019 season. It will certainly top his previous four-year contract with the team worth $2.58 Million with $100,000 guaranteed and a signing bonus of $70,000, which he signed in 2016.

Tyreek’s relationship with his girlfriend, Crystal Espinal got much heat but for the wrong reasons. The former was pleaded guilty to physically abusing his partner while they were dating in 2014.

As of the reports from Stillwater Police, Tyreek faced arrest on 12 December 2014 after reports of his assault on his then 20-years-of-age pregnant girlfriend. Crystal’s complaint report stated that Tyreek threw her and punched her in the face and stomach, and choked her while they got into an argument.

Following the investigations, Tyreek was pleaded guilty and sentenced to three years of probation. After a session of anger management class, his case got expunged, and Tyreek later engaged with Crystal in September 2018. The couple shares a baby boy together.

Recent Update On Child Controversy

The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, Tyreek Hill is set to avoid jail time after a Kansas county prosecutor declined to charge him following two alleged domestic incidents in February 2019.

Tyreek revolved around the police investigation after two child abuse cases popped up at his Overland Park residence. The incidents on 5 March and 14 March 2019 included both Tyreek and his partner, Crystal Espinal.

Police reports claimed that following the incident, the child found a place in protective care.

After the probable charge against the player got turned down on Wednesday, 24th April, the Kansa City Chiefs released an official statement saying,

This afternoon we were informed that Tyreek Hill will not be charged by the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office. Due to the continued investigation by the Department for Children and Families, we will have no further comment at this time.

While, as the case seems to be closed, Tyreek could focus more on his on-court performance.

Engaged To Girlfriend Keeta Vaccaro

Tyreek Hill now has a new girlfriend Keeta Vaccaro. The duo has been together for over a year. 

Keeta is the sister of an American football safety Kenny Vaccaro. Kenny most recently played for the NFL team Tennessee Titans, and he is now a free agent.
