Very few NBA players play and leave a legacy for a team, and Nick Collison is one of them. The retired powerful forward committed over a decade career at Oklahoma City Thunder prior his retirement in mid-2018.

Born as Nicholas John Collison, he is a former American basketball player. Nick played almost every seasons with the Seattle SuperSonics now Oklahoma City Thunder after the 2003 NBA draft.

The former Basketball player, age 38 was born on 26 October 1980 in Orange City, Iowa. His parents, Dave and Judy Collison raised him along with his younger brother named Michael. Nick went to Iowa Falls High School and was a McDonald’s All-American in 1999. From then he played for his college basketball team, Kansas Jayhawks between 1999 to 2003.

Nick stands at a tall height of 6 feet 10 inches (2.08 m) and weighs around 116 kg.

The 38-year-old has a net worth of $25 million from his 15 years career at the Basketball court. His professional career started after Oklahoma City Thunder picked him in the 2003 NBA draft. However, due to solder injury, he had to miss the 2003/2004 season.

Nick has already secured a record stats in his debut game against Los Angeles Clippers on 3 November 2004. Not just securing two points, he went for five rebounds and two assists in their 114–84 loss to the Clippers. Likewise, his rookie stats are very striking with 82 games with an average 5.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 17.0 minutes per game.

After 12 years, Nick extended a two year deal with Thunder worth $7.5 million on 3 February 2015. Later he again signed a year contract with minimum fee agreement on 21 July 2017. Almost a year later on 10 May 2018, he declared his retirement from professional basketball. Interestingly, his number four jersey is the first retired skit by the Thunder.

Nick’s former wife, Robbie Harriford is a family physician in Kansas City, Missouri. The former has a daughter named Emma, born in 2006 before they got married in July 2007. Talking about their first meet, they were the student of the Kansas University where Nick played Basketball and Robbie was involved in running track.

However, the couple could not sustain their matrimony and Nick on his 2019 interview with ESPN admitted divorce from Robbie.

As if for now, he enjoys a blissful time with his current partner, Jessica Faith. She is a graduate student of law from the Vanderbilt Law School. Similarly, Nick’s on his social media sharing made public about his partner’s educational achievement.
