Nemanja generates his elevating salary from his professional Basketball career with an Austrian league team, Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions between 2007–08 season. He records a great stats with Lions with an average of 8.5 points in 26 games. Two years later, he penned a five-year contract with Spanish club Saski Baskonia in August 2010. From then he was approved by a Turkish club, Fenerbahçe Ülker for a three-year deal on 22 July 2013.

Two years later, the Minnesota Timberwolves signed him on 14 July 2015. His career highlight was when Minnesota played Los Angeles Lakers on 13 November 2016. In the game, he was able to secure his career-high 24 points as Minnesota won by 125-99.

After another stint on the sidelines, Nemanja Bjelica returned for the 2017-2018 season where he hit a personal-best 30 points in a game against the Boston Celtics. For now, Nemanja plays with Sacramento Kings after signing a three-year salary worth $20.5 million on 21 July 2018.
