The former baller added a significant net worth playing professional Basketball league since 2003. After the graduation completion, the Chicago Bulls picked him in the 45th overall pick during the 2003 NBA draft. In spite of that, Chicago traded him to Toronto Raptors. Similarly, the Raptors urged Matt to play at the Italian league with Sicilia Messina in Messina, Sicily. During his tenure at Messina, his states were an average of 19.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.

Later the Raptors made a contract deal with Matt worth $385,277 in the 2004/2005 season. In the same following year, Matt played 82 regular-season games with an average of 7.2 points. Just two seasons old with Raptor, Matt was later traded to Spurs on 21 June 2006.

During the time, his significant other had a job as a hostess at the Air Canada Center which also was the playing stadium of Matt. After adequately getting to know each other, they started dating for a couple of years until Matt made a surprise proposal to Nadia in a hunting game. He sent her to the city of Toronto for a scavenger hunt on Valentine’s day and the final pursuit of the game was Matt himself.
