Not only Alyssa but her another co-star, Tony Danza quoted Katherine as a “National Treasure”. Similarly, Katherine’s second husband, David Christian was totally devasted after the death of his beloved wife. In a statement, David wrote,

She was the love of my life. We spent 57 beautiful, wonderful, loving years together, which I will treasure forever. I’ve been with Katherine since I was 19 years old. The night she died, I saw that the moon was exactly half-full, just as I am now… half of what I’ve been my entire adult life.”

The 89-year-old actor went to marry late American actor, George Martin in the year 1957. However the former officially ended their five years of marriage in 1962. After her divorce with George, the same following year, Katherine walked the aisle for the second time with David Christian. Nevertheless, she did not have any child from either of her two matrimonies. Katherine’s first partner, George’s death occurred at the age of 90 while midnight-sleep in his United Kingdom residence on 8 March 2016.
