Katie Hoppenjans is a new contestant to appear on this season’s America’s Favorite Quiz Show, Jeopardy! She will make her debut on the 9th March episode on Monday.
As per the show’s format, she has two more competitors in the episode. One of them will be the returning champion, James Denison, a college professor and museum curator from Alexandria, Virginia.
James secured his first win on the 6th March episode, making his one-day total of $36,199. The other new face to compete on the Monday’s episode will be Jonathan Rosales, a university fundraiser from Glendale, California.

Hoppenjans is 34 years old now. She was born Katherine M Hoppenjans in the year 1991 in the United States.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, she was raised by her parents there. She seems to be of German origin from her parents’ side and is fluent in the German language.
After high school, she went to Columbia University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature in 2013. Moreover, she obtained a Master of Business Administration from Emory University – Goizueta Business School in 2018.
