Jordan Clarkson is a Filipino-American basketball player currently playing for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball at the University of Tulsa for two seasons.

Jordan Taylor Clarkson was born on 7 June 1992 to parents Mike Clarkson and Annette Davis. Both his parents served in the United States Air Force. He grew up with a brother named Bear Clarkson in Tampa, Florida.

Clarkson pursued his early education at Karen Wagner High School in San Antonio. He then went to the University of Tulsa to play college basketball. He stands at a height of 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 meters) and weighs 194 lbs (88 kg).

His Career; NBA, Stats

Jordan played with the Tulsa Golden Hurricane men’s basketball for two seasons from 2010 to 2012. Afterward, he was transferred to the University of Missouri, where he played for the 2013-14 season.

The Washington Wizards selected him with the 46th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft on 26 June 2014. However, Clarkson was later traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on draft night for cash considerations. He played for the Lakers for four seasons and was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers on 8 February 2018.

After playing for a seasons with the Cavaliers, he was traded to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Dante Exum and two future second-round draft picks on 24 December 2019. He has also played for the Philippines men’s national basketball team.

Jordan signed a 4-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, worth $50,000,000. It includes a $50,000,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $12,500,000.
