The 17-years-of-age young actress was born to the mixed Mexican and Puerto Rican parents as Jenna Marie Ortega on 27 September 2002. She hails from Coachella Valley, California, U.S., and is among the six children of her father and her mother, Natalie Ortega. Her siblings include three sisters: Aaliyah Ortega, Mariah Ortega, and Mia Ortega, and two brothers: Markus Ortega and Isaac Ortega.

About 5 feet and 1 inch (1.55 meters) tall in height, Jenna began receiving acting auditions at the age of eight with the help from her mother and agents.

Acting Career

Jenna commenced her acting career with a short role in the American sitcom, Rob, in 2012. Subsequently, she made her debut big-screen appearance in the MCU’s Iron Man 3 as the vice president’s daughter in 2013. The same year, she was part of the supernatural horror flick, Insidious: Chapter 2, as Annie.

A year later, the young actress landed the role of Young Jane in the romantic dramedy and satirical telenovela, Jane the Virgin. She was part of the show till 2019 during which she appeared in 27 episodes. Similarly, her other commendable part came in as a lead role of Harley Diaz in the comedy series, Stuck in the Middle, from 2016 to 2018. She is also part of the animated adventure series, Elena of Avalor, since 2016, where she provides a voice to Princess Isabel.
