Jamie Erdahl is an American journalist, currently working for CBS Sports. She is a sideline reporter of SEC on CBS, covering the Southeastern Conference college football games.

Jamie Erdahl Family, Education

Jamie Marie Erdahl was born on 3^rd December 1988 in Bloomington, Minnesota, United States. She is one of the two daughters of Jim Erdahl and Chris Erdahl, who worked in the medical field. She is close to her parents and siblings, which is ensembled by her Instagram posts. Jamie grew up with an older sister named Jaclyn Erdahl, who works as a nurse in Boise, Idaho. Jaclyn is a graduate of the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Erdahl with a height of 5 feet 7 inches attended Breck School in Golden Valley, Minnesota. Afterward, she went to St. Olaf College and again transferred to American University in 2009. There, she earned her bachelor of arts in communication and media studies, graduating at the age of 22 in 2011.

Career; CBS Sports

After graduation, Jamie covered high school football CTN Cable Channel 12 in Coon Rapids. Furthermore, she covered Lynx games for Fox Sports North in Twin Cities, Minnesota.

In 2012, she began her broadcasting career as a television reporter for New England Sports Network in Boston. There, she filled in on the sidelines for Jenny Dell during the Boston Red Sox season in 2013. She also hosted the 30-minute live news shows on the network.

After spending two years at NESN, she joined CBS Sports Network in 2014 and started to work as a sports reporter. As of June 2018, she appears as the lead reporter for the SEC on CBS. Moreover, she covers the NCAA basketball regular season on the network.

Husband & Children

The CBS reporter is currently married to her longtime boyfriend Sam Buckman. The lovebirds tied the wedding knot after dating several years on 22 July 2017. The ceremony was held at her hometown in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The couple got engaged in October 2016 in London.

Sam, 32 now works as an alliance with Stryker Corporation, a Fortune 500 medical technologies firm based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He played football at Minnetonka High School and worked as an NFL agent from 2010 to 2013.

Jamie announced that she is expecting a baby girl with her husband Sam in January 2019.  They welcomed a baby daughter named Brooke Marie Buckman on 10 July 2019. The family of three resides in the Minneapolis area. She adores the affectionate love, and selfless care she and her daughter receives from Sam and belive he along with her father have been responsible for shaping and supporting her and the little one.

The media person and her significant other in July 2020 embarked, three years of blissful marriage. Jamie in one of her IG posts on 22 July 2020 expressed her gratitude for her special person for the boy, man, husband, and father, he has been in all these years. She also made it clear of not finding any better version of the person, her husband is and also did not forgot to mention, his appealing looks.  

Just a few weeks back, the family also celebrated Brooke’s first birthday. Jamie thinks the little one is responsible to change their lives in such a short time with the joy and warmth, she posses as a parent. The media personality is also optimistic about the road ahead and nothing is more valuable for the pair, but to see a smile on Brooke’s face.
